Punchy Peach, Ginger & Chai

One of Punchy's original trio of premium non-alcoholic punches, Peach Ginger & Chai follows a similar summery vibe. Using top-notch ingredients and a lightness of touch, Punchy aim to transport you to your favourite sun-drenched hangout via the medium of taste.

Sweet, fragrant peach forms the base of this drink with lively ginger root poking right through to add a piquant heat, set against an earthy backdrop of chai spices. Peach brings the sunshine, ginger brings the party, chai makes it all a bit more interesting and adds a touch of class.

There are a couple of niggles here preventing this drink from hitting the knock-out levels of Punchy's Cucumber, Yuzu & Rosemary and Blood Orange, Bitters & Cardamom. Firstly, something (likely ginger) is mildly irritating when breathed in deeply, causing a coughing reflex. This is weird but verified by 3 different people here at NoLo HQ, much to our puzzlement. It's not a deal-breaker but it is strange. Secondly, being such a pungent flavour, the ginger is balanced by greater sweetness than in the other Punchy blends which results in a less fresh/clean aftertaste. It's not an unpleasant aftertaste but it's sweet and spicy, akin to that from a ginger beer.

Punchy are absolute winners at delivering fresh and tasty sparking, summer soft-drinks and this Peach, Ginger & Chai stands its ground as the more fiery member of the family.
